My Business Idea

I think I came up with the best business idea this week. For a project in sports economics, we had to make a presentation for a startup business with an unlimited budget (this is key). I've always wanted to open my own SportsPlex, similar to The St. James in Springfield, VA. But for the project, it is supposed to be located in NOVA, and because of big competition with The St. James, I had to think outside the box. I created an indoor sand arena to bring beach sports, inside. Let me give some background: I have from Miami, Florida, and beach sports has been part of my life since middle school. There are indoor sand courts in NOVA, but they're very limited and have very strict usage rules. My facility, The Sand Castle, will be membership only, like a gym, with complete access to the facility. The Sand Castle will have sand courts for volleyball, soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, and more. It will also have a FlowRider for indoor surfing and boogie boarding, as well as an indoor skateboard and bike park. The roof will be retractable for sunny days for the real beach experience, and we will have misting fans for cooling. The Olympic pool will be salt water and allow for swimming and diving competitions, with an automated wave pool for beach effect. I really believe with a very rich investor like in this hypothetical business plan, this facility will be the talk of the Northeast region. Its a great way to bring the beach inland, and give youth and adults another way of staying active.
